1. What happens to my audio after transcribing?

Your audio is automatically deleted on our back-end and we will have absolutely no access to it afterwards.

3. Do you offer a free trial?

Clients interested in long-term services can qualify for a no-risk free trial period. There are no requirements to continue service if you are not satisfied with your trial. During this trial period, we will provide you with full transcription services, which include: online platform/database access, creation/use of your template(s), unlimited user accounts, and a dedicated account management specialist. We are confident that at the end of this trial, you will choose to continue our services.

5. How much does your service cost?

Our cost varies by what type of transcription you are requesting and a few other factors – please see the pricing page for full details. Or for a personalized quote, please call our office at +234-705-6910-392. We do offer volume discounts.

6. What does it look like?

Your transcript will be a PDF and Microsoft Word document with the title of the file at the top, a speaker key showing the number of speakers, followed by the dialogue.We offer a standard template and a time coded template which can be viewed here.

8. What if I am not satisfied?

Please contact us within 7 days if you are not satisfied with your transcript. We will ticket your complaint and our Operations Managers will investigate the matter.

2. What is VocalScript’s Confidentiality Policy?

VocalScript provides best-in-class security and confidentiality. Our process of segmenting projects ensures confidentiality by preventing any one transcriptionist from having full access to your recordings. The full recording is only available to our Quality Assurance team, all of whom have signed NDAs.

4. Who are our transcribers?

We receive loads of applications monthly. We assess and select the best candidates. Our transcribers are familiar with nearly every industry and accent. They are vetted and required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
We have on many occasions carried out extremely sensitive work for various government agencies, financial institutions and research marketing companies. A copy of the relevant clauses in the transcriber contract will be sent on request.

7. How accurate will the transcript be?

We accept files with any sound and speaker quality. Transcript accuracy is commensurate with the audio or video file quality.

9. What is your refund policy?

If you experience issues with the delivery of your file, we will gladly do what we can to make it right. Please contact us and describe the issue in detail. Please provide the file name, email address used to upload your file, and a summary of the problem. We will review the issue and promptly get back to you. We will endeavor to correct any issues with quality of the output in the finished file.
Please note that refunds are not available after the order is placed, as crowd workers immediately begin processing the file and are paid for their work. If we determine that your transcript falls short of our accuracy or turnaround guarantees, and your audio quality meets our minimum standards, we will fix your transcript or provide you with further transcript credit, or in special cases provide a full or partial refund at our discretion.
